Dunkle Ecken (Dark Corners) sheds some light on the topic of mental health, considering it from a variety of perspectives in order to dissolve traditional attitudes, and associated stigmas.The exhibition aims to increase the visibility of the subject in order to promote a discourse on the integrity and transparency of mental health in our society. The archive frames the exhibited artworks and allows access to the submitted voice memos of people affected by mental health issues in German and Italian.
The challenge
Since the website was created for an exhibition, it had a very interesting web design. I had to create a scrolling effect that would bend the content of the page. Also, because the exhibits were in three languages, the UI needed to be in three languages as well.I was required to create a custom audio player for the audio exhibits, as well as a custom cursor for the overall website.
